Value Change

We urgently need to build the critical mass and political will for the deep-rooted societal change that is capable of containing and then reversing the effects of climate change and environmental degradation. The future of humanity depends on it.

Green Cross promotes legal, ethical and behavioral norms that aim to change the values, actions and attitudes of government, the private sector, civil society and people at large so to ensure a sustainable future for humanity.

Youth education is a key priority for Green Cross. We instill children and adults with a positive awareness of, and responsibility for, their actions and the environment, in order to promote lasting and secure conditions for all people to enjoy.

To do this, we operate three distinct initiatives under our Value Change programme:

Education for Environmental Sustainability

Earth Charter

Earth Dialogues

Each activity highlights the crucial nexus between security, poverty and the environment, and facilitates dialogue to change behaviours of all sectors of society.
