Students around the world joined with Green Cross to celebrate World Water Day 2013, using paint, pencils and art to answer the question "Why water is precious to you?"

This drawing comes from Bolivia's "Unidad Educativa de la comunidad de Isiporenda - Charagua."

Description:

20 years after the 1992 Earth Summit, the world's focus returns to Rio in the search for solutions to the challenges facing our planet and its people. The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 20-22 June 2012.

The event also marks the 20th anniversary since civil society delegates to the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio called on Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mikhail Gorbachev to create Green Cross International.
