Our Projects

One in eight people worldwide has no access to safe drinking water. Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease.

Green Cross International’s Water Programme enables thousands of people to access safe water and sanitation services, which are basic human rights. Through our Smart Water for Green Schools (SWGS) project, which was launched in Ghana in 2010, we provide sustainable, long-term solutions that ensure communities can access water, children have a safe place to learn and students are educated on proper hygiene, sanitation and the environment.
