Historic recognition of Human Right to Safe Drinking Water & Sanitation at UN

Right to water and sanitationThe 3rd Commission of the 64th General Assembly of the United Nations made history today by overwhelmingly adopting the draft resolution proclaiming the Human Right to Safe drinking Water and Sanitation. Presented by Bolivia and 34 other States, the resolution received 122 voted in favour with no votes against and 41 abstentions.

GC Spain links Sport and Biodiversity

Biodiversity & SportAt an event at the High Council for Sport Headquarters on 8 July, GC Spain officially launched the new project “Sustainable Sport Practices for Biodiversity Conservation”. The project seeks to improve sport management in natural areas, specifically in protected areas. In addition, the project aims to create a dynamic tool that can be used by both managers of protected areas and athletes practicing sports outdoors in protected areas.
